Convolvulus pluricaulis is a perdurable herbal drug that appears like morning glory. C. Pluricaulis can enhance all features related to the brain, like cognition, brainpower, and learning. Data on this plant was collected from search engines like google scholar, Pub Med, SciFinder, and web of science. The present reviewaims to summarize up-to-date information on active constituents, pharmacognosy, pharmacology, methods of extraction, and ethno pharmacological uses of C. pluricaulis from literature. Phytoconstituents found in this plant are mentioned and discussed. Conventional and novel extraction techniques were used for the extraction of scopoletin from C. Pluricaulis. C. Pluricaulis encompasses anxiolytic, anticonvulsant, antidepressant, antibacterial, antifungal, hepatoprotective, cardiovascular, antiviral, spasmolytic, anti-inflammatory, and antidiabetic activity. Some progress has been made; further attentive efforts are required to investigate the individual compounds isolated from this plant to understand its traditional uses and to develop clinical applications.
