Abstract

From the research already done and published, it is clear that to prevent human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), one should limit the number of sexual partners, should not share needles, and condoms should be employed in the right manner. HIV is presented as a comparison to the human papillomavirus (HPV). HPV appears to be significant in the etiology of multiple cancers of the oropharynx and a small set of cancers of human oral parts. A link between tonsil cancer in the husbands of the women with HPV virus related cervical cancer has already been discovered. The state of knowledge about the spread of HPV in tonsillar carcinoma is similar to the state of HIV and sexual practices many years ago. Scientific studies should be funded to research about tonsil cancers in men and oral sex practices.
