In the present study, the impact of cultural activities on fish fauna of Rewalsar lake has assessed The heavy fish mortality in August, 1984 was observed due to low oxygen core tion, more free carbon dioxide, high chloride contents and total phosphorus. The phytop population was dominated by a few pollution indicator species and zooplankton with more ber of rotatorians.
