Abstract

The results of the present investigation reveal that in the single choice test wheat flour was preferred by Mus muculus (Albino) but the difference with bajra was nonsignificant (Px 0.05). In multiple choice test bajra flour was the most preferred food and the difference was highly significant (P<0.001). Experiments with additives indicate that the consumption of food was incresed by addition of 2% salt or 2% coconut oil +2% salt or 2% coconut oil +2% honey to the most preferred food (bajra), the difference was found to be nonsignificant (Px 0.05). Addition of 2% coconut oil or 2% honey to the most preferred food decreases the consumption.
