Abstract

Performance appraisal is the process of determining and communicating to an employee how he or she is performing on the job and establishing a plan of improvement. and when properly conducted, performance appraisal not only lets employees know how well they are performing but also influences their future level of efforts and task directions. Therefore, this paper focused on developing practical performance Appraisal policy to provide an appropriate, clear, and consistent framework for the assessment of employees’ performance within the context of work improvement, self-evaluation and development planning by collecting the data from the research articles, policies and other sources.
