Therefore, this paper discusses the research that is being conducted to determine the level of teacher’s passion among secondary international schools’ teachers in Klang Valley, Malaysia. Using Vellerand’s passion scale, surveys using questionnaire were distributed to 120 teachers who were selected purposely. The findings reveal that there is a reasonably high passion in their teaching among teachers. Hence, teachers with enthusiasm and desired skills for the job to be active educators and can be enhanced effective teachers. In an age of mass education, highly increasing economic and challenges, ensuring passionate teachers for high quality education delivery in school is important. The quality of teachers teaching and learning is connected not only to the skills and knowledge, but also to the passion which the educators bring to their work. Recently, previous studies have been asked to focus not only on student’s academic progress but also on their well being. One of the changes that cater for requirement is by increasing teachers’ sense of vulnerability and increasing their passion to their work. This is something that needs to be given some attention to as teachers with passion would not find their job to be stressful. Although teaching is a complex and demanding job, teachers who have sustainable energy with high enthusiasm, would eventually commit themselves in teaching.
