Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of emotional intelligence on the work stress of the Al-Ajami Educational Administration. A questionnaire designed for this investigation was employed. Numerous statistical techniques, particularly multiple regression analysis for examining the impact of multiple independent variables on a single dependent variable, and hierarchical regression analysis for determining the adjusted impact of work stress, are employed to achieve the study's objectives. Employees need certain kinds of motivation and work stress mitigating strate- gies to overcome the stress. Many researchers argued that emotional intelligence may reduce work stress among employees of all management levels. A randomized stratified sample of the study population was selected by (401) individuals with a re- sponse rate of (80.2%). The results of the study showed a significant effect of emotional intelligence on work stress. The findings suggest, among other things, that organisations should pay more attention to emotional intelligence and its function in lowering workplace stress.
